My name is Sarah and I am 26 years old. I love to cook, and love to eat. I am a professionally trained chef (but I don’t work in a professional kitchen). I live in Northern California, with my Partner/Wifey Poo of 2 years, Her name is Beth. We have an adorable dog named Scarlet who is also 2 years old. I cook dinner at least 5 nights a week, every week…on $200 a month. We eat healthy, fresh, and delicious food.

When I started this blog over a year ago I was at my highest weight of my life. 186 lbs. Standing at only 5’4″ tall that is quite a lot of weight. I was at risk for type II diabetes and heart disease and was altogether unhappy with the way I looked and the way I felt.
Now thanks to a year of eating healthier and some exercise with my wonderful partner, I am about 160 lbs. Its a slow process but for me this has never been about “losing weight” but about changing my eating habits and the way I treat my body.
